Silicone Grease                                   

Silicone greases from PolySi Technologies offer excellent dielectric properties, extreme high and low temperature capabilities (-100 - 400 F), water resiliency, and oxidation resistance. These characteristics make our silicone greases excellent for lubricating, coating and sealing plastic and rubber parts. The silicone based materials reduce friction and provide long lasting lubrication not found in traditional lubricating materials. Typical applications include: brake calipers, computer equipment, printers, medical equipment, shower and faucet o-rings, cable TV connectors and communication equipment.  We also offer the complete Dow Corning automotive line and serve as an authorized repackager.  If you have unique requirements, we can custom formulate a lubricant just for you.  Our contract packaging is among the best in the industry, offering all types of standard and non-standard packaging.

Silicone Compounds

Silicone compounds are grease like lubricants containing silicone fluids and inert silica fillers.  They are resistant to oxidation and thermal degradation while maintaining their properties over a wide temperature range.  Silicone compounds are designed as release agents and may be used as o-ring assembly lubricants, non-conductors of electricity, non-curing sealant and as assembly lubricants for plastic and rubber parts.  Silicone compounds may be used for applications where they function in a dual role as both a lubricant and a sealant.

New Silicone Cleaner! PST Silicone Grease Remover

PolySi Technologies now offers a new and easier method of removing excess silicone grease!  Our new Silicone Grease Remover is used as a Surface Prep Solvent.  PST-Silicone Grease Remover is transparent in color  and was designed specifically for use as a cleaning agent and carrier.  Grease Remover is also safe for use on a wide range of materials, including plastics, metals, painted surfaces, and elastomer materials.  Grease Remover is also ozone safe.  This product is available in 55 gallon drums (440 lbs), 5 gallon pails (40lbs), or1 gallon pails (8lbs).

Thermally Conductive Grease

PolySi Technologies manufactures several types of thermally conductive silicone greases. These materials are designed to dissipate heat through the elimination of air voids surrounding critical components. These materials are thickened with metal oxides such as zinc and aluminum and can be customized around your application. Typical applications include: transistors, electronic devices, heat wells, and flyback transformers on TV sets.

Military Specified Lubricants

When your needs call for products that are time tested and approved for high intensity applications, military specified lubricants serve as great benchmark of superior quality.  PolySi Technologies provides many products that meet military specifications and QPL listed materials for a wide variety of applications.  Military specifications include Mil-S-8660C, Mil-C-21567,W-D-1078, Mil-G-6032, Mil-C47113B Type 1 and Mil-G-4343C.  Applications for these materials include: high tension electrical connectors for aircraft and automotive engines, sealing and insulating electronic equipment, o-rings lubricants, and corrosion prevention on dissimilar metals. The military specified lubricants are available in bulk or specialty packaging upon request.

Electrical Applications

PolySi Technologies' silicone greases are widely used throughout a wide range of electrical products where electrical insulating properties are required. These materials exhibit excellent dielectric properties inherent with silicone greases while maintaining their lubricity over a wide temperature range.  Typical applications include: separable connectors (elbows), wire splices, electrical and electronics equipment, high voltage insulators, household appliances (microwaves, blenders), automotive applications (e.g., spark plug boots, distributor caps, and electrical connectors) and marine industry connectors.

Silicone Lubricating Fluids

PolySi Technologies offers a full line of silicone fluids. Silicone fluids perform under the most extreme industrial conditions and over a wide range of temperatures.    Silicone fluids resist salts, dilute alkalis and acids, and resist harsh chemicals, fuels and solvents.  They also resist evaporation, oxidation, and radiation; they are non-carbonizing, and inherently inert. 

The range of silicone fluid viscosities, from 1cst- 600,000 cst, provide many alternatives to solve your lubricating needs.  They can be formulated into greases or pastes, depending on your application.  The fluids include dimethylpolysiloxane, methylphenyl fluids, and alkyl blends. These materials are commonly used to lubricate o-rings extending the life and reducing the wear, mold releases, release agents, diluent fluids, dampening media and rubber components.
